Buddhist Recovery Meetings: United States > Arizona > Prescott
Refuge Recovery Meeting
Day/time: Wednesday — 7:00pm
First Congregational Church
Refuge Recovery is a program of recovery from all types of addiction and the suffering caused by addiction. It uses the Buddha’s core teachings, the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path, as its main inspiration and guiding philosophy. Refuge Recovery takes a non-theistic approach to spiritual practice, asking people to believe in nothing beyond a process that includes meditation, wise actions and compassion, and to work at their recovery.
These meetings are based on the book, “Refuge Recovery: A Buddhist Path to Addiction Recovery”
