The Albuquerque Buddhist Recovery Sangha has been meeting continuously since October of 2009.
We’re non-sectarian. The meeting consists of a reading related to Buddhism and recovery, mediation and open discussion. The meetings are facilitated by Dug Corpolongo, a certified Dharma teacher through the North American Shin Buddhist Association. Dug is also a student in the Chaplaincy Program at Upaya Zen Center Santa Fe NM.

Please join us for the Serenity Sangha Meeting inspired by ‘A Buddhist’s Insight into the 12 Steps of Recovery’ by Doug C and the Albuquerque Recovery Sangha Meetings.
We welcome recovering people from all programs.
We open with 5 minutes of breathing meditation, then read from teachings selected by the group. Then we sit together for approximately 30 minutes, after which we share/discuss our experiences with the mediation and topic of the readings.
