Literary Symbolism, Poetry & Story-Based Inquiry
Welcome to Once Upon a Sangha—a Buddhist-based recovery meeting for the rest of us. We meet every Friday night from 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM for a relaxed, conversational, and less formal approach to recovery.
If you’ve struggled to fit into traditional, rigid recovery spaces, you belong here.
We are a peer-led group exploring Buddhist recovery concepts through a creative lens, looking at the deep recovery truth and literary symbolism hidden within children’s stories, fairy tales, myth, and poetry. Expect a down-to-earth community vibe where we use creative storytelling to look at our patterns and find freedom from suffering. No prior experience required. Bring your authentic self and start your weekend with us.
Stick around after the meeting! We host an extended "parking lot" time right after the hour for anyone who wants to stay, chat, and connect with the community.
