Joe Clements

Joe Clements is a mindfulness teacher and facilitator with more than a decade of experience offering meditation and recovery-based groups in diverse settings, including meditation centers, treatment programs, and workplaces. His teaching grows out of Buddhist practice, trauma-informed care, and lived experience in long-term recovery.

Alongside meditation, Joe integrates training in somatic healing into his offerings, helping people connect with the body as a resource for regulation, resilience, and presence. His approach is simple and accessible, rooted in the belief that healing doesn’t come from fixing ourselves but from learning to sit with what’s real.

Joe Clements is the founder of Sit.Feel.Heal., a mindfulness-based approach to emotional resilience, recovery, and community connection. His style is down-to-earth and relational, meeting people where they are and reminding us that we don’t have to do this alone. After years of gathering with the Thursday Night Meditation Group, Joe opened the Sit.Feel.Heal. Meditation Center on River Street in Santa Cruz, California, a space for practice, community, and care.

The Sit.Feel.Heal. Meditation Center offers weekly meditations, workshops, retreats, and community circles. Everyone is welcome. No experience needed.
